PAUL F. TOMPKINS IS ONLINE

The Thrilling Adventure Hour closed their show on Friday, October 11, 2013 at The Bell House in Brooklyn with what is now a tradition (they’ve done it two shows in a row), by singing a song written in 1898 about the Gowanus Canal. The arrangement is by Paul & Storm. You can see the original song lyrics at Pardon Me For Asking.

A Thrilling Adventure Hour fan named Hardy (age 8) made Lego versions of Frank & Sadie Doyle and Sparks Nevada and he let us hold them!

I was thrilled to have experienced Comicon for the very first time with my dear chums from The Thrilling Adventure Hour. This panel was so much fun to do, and we raised money for a good cause to boot. Thanks to Zachary Levi’s Nerd Machine for having us. - Paul

Look at this amazing poster that Annie Wu made for The Thrilling Adventure Hour at Comicon. Never have two lower faces been captured more perfectly!

Autumn Reeser’s dog joined us for Thrilling Adventure Hour rehearsal yesterday. He was difficult to work with, to the point where he claimed not being able to read the script was the result of eating some “bad sushi.” I would not expect to see him in the show this weekend.

Okay, $15 off.

I tried to pirate that Joss Whedon Shakespeare movie but I didn’t get the whole thing. $10 off!

deantrippe:

Did you know you could buy fancy coffee with my drawing of Paul F. Tompkins as the King of Coffee on it? Well, consider yourself informed, old chums.

REGAL CAFFEINATION IS IN YOUR FUTURE, GOOD GENTLE-PEOPLE!

It actually is good coffee. - Paul
30 Rock’s Scott Adsit quickly snapped this photo backstage at the May 2013 Thrilling Adventure Hour in Brooklyn— Paget Brewster and I are about to make our entrance as Frank & Sadie Doyle. I am helping Paget up the stairs because I am a gentleman and because she is a lady who wears life-threatening ladyshoes. Director Aaron Ginsburg counts to one Euro-style in the background. Also pictured: a giant thumb monster.
