Comedy Bang Bang: The Musical! with Scott Aukerman, Casey Wilson, Paul F. Tompkins and Thomas Lennon
August 17, 2013
This was one of the craziest shows of my entire career. I hope there is video of it somewhere. We closed the show by sing-counting from 1-60 eight times. Do it once, by yourself, and then try to imagine four people doing it, eight times, as you sit in a hot, stifling theatre.
Please enjoy guests Rob Corddry and The Ghost of Richard Harrow on this video edition of Scott Aukerman's Comedy Bang! Bang! podcast.
Famous producer/director/monster hunter “GARRY MARSHALL” makes his television debut.
Please. Call him “’Garry’.”
Other guests include Zoe Saldana and John Carroll Lynch! And of course, Reggie Watts.
Friday, August 9, IFC. 10pm Eastern/Pacific. Mountain and Central timers: as always, you’re on your own.
IF YOU’VE EVER THOUGHT “Sure, I’ve been occasionally amused by Paul Thompson, but I’d never pay more than five dollars for a comedy special of his,” your plan worked! And it’s Paul F. TOMPKINS, you creep!
My audition for Tide detergent. I’m still waiting to hear.
Thanks to Jimmy Pardo and the whole Never Not Funny gang for having me. Apologies to Matt Gourley, who, as far as I’m concerned, owns that last line now and forever.
SPEAKEASY WITH PAUL F. TOMPKINS: NATE CORDDRY
I chat with the effervescent actor about Moon Children, The Daily Show, and what it was like inside Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip. We share some laughs, some laffs, and even some lafts (extremely rare)!
